Professional info
I am a multidisciplinary artist who merges abstract expression and illustration techniques, creating visuals that invite viewers into new worlds of interpretation. Specializing in mixed mediums, each piece offers a unique perspective on the world, one that balances abstraction with detailed, illustrative elements that captivate the eye and stir the imagination.
In addition to my artistic practice, I am an experienced journalist with a passion for storytelling on a local and international scale ranging from arts and culture, daily news, entertainment, etc. With a background in journalism, I have contributed to Block Club Chicago, Chicago Reader, Chicago Sun-Times, and others. This journalistic experience has influenced my approach to art -- allowing me to express the narratives I want to create.
